TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Punta Gorda Nautical Adventures will do everything reasonable for you to have a great time on your charter but we do have some rules. Some are general rules for safety and other rules are for the protection of our boat and equipment.

All our trips operate under complete terms and conditions. 

 

  1. Space is limited to a maximum of 6 guests, no exceptions.

  2. Usage or possession of narcotics, marijuana, or the possession of any other illegal substances of any nature will result in the termination of the trip and the entire trip will be billed. Alcohol in moderation at the captain's discretion is acceptable. If the captain deems any of the passengers are intoxicated to a level that he deems put others, himself or the vessel at risk the trip will be terminated with no refunds issued. Alcohol may only be consumed by persons 21 or older.

  3. Any person(s) appearing to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to board the vessel. If an illegal drug is found on board or is in the possession of any individual(s), or the captain determines that any individual(s) are unstable due to excessive drinking, the trip will immediately be terminated without a refund.

  4. Smoking is not allowed on the vessel at all. Vaping is permissible as long as it isn’t any type of marijuana or other illegal substance.

  5. The Captain in his sole discretion reserves the right to cancel the trip within 2 hours of the departure time due to strong winds, rough waters, or any situation that could pose a safety risk. If this occurs, customers will receive a full reimbursement, or an alternative day may be scheduled depending on availability.

  6. Customers must cancel at least 24 hours prior to their arrival day and time to receive a full refund. No shows receive no refund. Same day cancellations receive no refund.

  7. Glass bottles or other glass items are not allowed on board the boat without prior approval by the boat Captain.

  8. You are expected to be on time for your charter. The charter begins at the designated departure time, not at the charterer's arrival. If charter guests are late that will count towards the charter time and may result in charter cancellation without a refund. Punta Gorda Nautical Adventures reserves the right to cancel any charter where the party fails to arrive within a reasonable time of the scheduled departure.

  9. It is Florida law that children 6 and under must wear a personal flotation device. Please assist in making sure that children comply. We will provide you with a USCG approved life jacket but guests are welcome to bring their own as they may be more comfortable than the USCG jackets provided.

  10. A trip terminated due to member(s) of the charter party getting seasick will not be entitled to a refund or credit.

  11. The boat Captain shall not be held liable for any injury or fatality that is caused by either direct or indirect action of any member of the charter party.

  12. The charter does not include any food or beverages but guests are welcome to bring them onboard.. A mid-size cooler with one bag of ice will be provided. Any colored beverages such as red wine must be kept in a lidded drink container.

  13. It is recommended to bring ample water with you. It is easy to become dehydrated being out in the sun, especially on the water.
